Mazzola’s Ravioli Hits the Steamboat Spot

Ravioli Mondays are among the nightly themes at Mazzola’s

P1050834Mazzola’s Italian Diner in downtown Steamboat Springs isn’t a diner but a long, skinny basement restaurant. Since it serves only dinner, the absence of daylight is not an issue. The menu offers an array of popular dishes (apps, pasta, pizza, salads and such). When a friend and I were scouting around for a place to eat, Ravioli Night (Mondays, with other themes on other evenings) caught our attention — partly because lemon ricotta ravioli was being offered, and that sounded good. Mazzola’s does not take reservations, and there was something of a wait, but once we were seated, we thought that the portions were abundant, the food good and the service congenial.
